Catering to the needs of its clients in the food processing industry, COVAL has developed a series of particularly innovative silicone suction cups dedicated to high-speed handling of flexible packaging. These new FPC series suction cups combine great flexibility with food safety and have been specifically designed for optimal handling of packaging pouches from 100 g to 5 kg, such as FlowPack, DoyPack, etc. The shape of the lip has been designed to fit the deformation of the plastic pouch and ensure the best possible airtightness when grasping products. The airtightness provides an added advantage of being able to use a lower-powered vacuum generator. Furthermore, FPC suction cups are provided with cleats that stiffen the lip and reinforce the clamping effect.
These suction cups are available in blue silicone to meet the constraints of the food processing sector, are compatible with FDA food standards (FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.) and meet the European regulation (EC) 1935/2004.
