MCPL BRYAN CHRISTIE My name is Master Corporal Bryan Christie, and by the time you read this, I will be getting ready to head back to Cold Lake from Eastern Europe. After 5 long months, several regional lockdowns and during one of the strangest times in recent memory, I’m finally coming home with stories of the most unique and challenging experience of my life. Romania is a country rich with history and legends. As I learned
about their history, it seemed to be a a stranger, and not afraid to spark up a relentless cycle of trading conquerors conversation in the interest of finding for tyrants, back to another conqueror common ground. Where this country – Rinse, Lather, Repeat. Steering clear of the politics surrounding the situation, Romania was a country that needed some reassurance, and in typical Canadian fashion we answered the call. As a result of this, I am one of many Canadians who have had the privilege of visiting this beautiful country in an effort to maintain regional stability as part of Operation REASSURANCE.
