Fly-In Breakfast at Gooding Airport

Do you look up at the sky and wonder what it would be like to soar through the air? This might be your opportunity to learn more about flying. This Saturday, September 23rd, the Gooding Airport Flyers Association will host a Fly-In Breakfast at the Gooding Airport from 7 to 11 a.m. They will be serving pancakes for $10, then you can tour the various educational displays and see the many airplanes that call the Gooding Airport home. Bring the family and share the enthusiasm of aviation. And... if you are brave enough, you can take to the sky. Airplane rides will be available for purchase and will begin at 7:00 a.m. The money raised this year will be to provide a scholarship for the newly formed Forever Flying GAFA scholarship. This scholarship will be used to help new pilots in the Gooding area to learn to fly! Lazy Dave's Fix It Shop

David Weber started working on his own car as a teenager when he found that no one could fix it right. Since then, he has owned dozens of cars, trucks, boats, tractors, etc. and has almost never paid for repairs. "If I needed something done, I figured it out and got whatever tools I needed to do the job." David grew up in Idaho Falls where "Idaho is a family thing," he says, and his roots go all the way back to the origins of Idaho. After living in Nampa for several years, he found things were getting too crowded. So he decided to find a smaller community and in 2021 he moved to Fairfield (smaller indeed!). He purchased property just west of the Iron Mountain Inn on the north side of Highway 20 and built a shop where he can put his mechanical skills to good use. While David has been in the bicycle business for 40 years, he can also take care of your cars, trucks, recreational equipment, small engines, and just about anything else. He can even tune your skis. Most of the time, David is busy working as a Privacy & Compliance Officer at Claim.MD, but when he is not on the computer, he is working in the shop. Have project that needs fixing? Check out Lazy Dave's Fix It Shop. Give him a call or text at 986-230-8512.
