Celebrating 30 Years
The Lincoln County Courthouse lawn will soon be full of quality Arts and Crafts, Antique Dealers, Festival Food and Great Music, with the 30th year of Shoshone Arts in the Park. This festival is a great place for family and friends ot come together to listen to great music, eat festival food, and do some shopping for quality arts and crafts. Shoshone Arts in the Park will be held on July 8th and 9th on the Lincoln County Courthouse Lawn located on US Hwy 93 (South Greenwood) just walking distance from the Historic downtown. Vendors travel from all over Idaho, Utah and Oregon to participate in this annual event to sell their metal and gourd art, photography, paintings, fiber art, handmade soap and so many more quality artists. The Idaho Operation Lifesaver Trolley will be giving rides all day Saturday. Wagons rides, antique dealers the Historical Museum will be open and a delicious variety of food vendors will be on hand during the weekend. The festival begins on Saturday at 9:00 am

and goes till oggi C e k 6:00 p.m. On Spi Sunday, the Oasis Christian Fellowship will be hosting a community breakfast starting at 7:00 a.m. The festival will open at 10:00 am and last till 5:00 pm for the conclusion of the event. This year, the Music Festival will feature some great entertainment. Music will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday and 10:00 am on Sunday. Rodeo Season Begins
The rodeo season for our area kicked off with the Days of the Old West Rodeo in Hailey (July 2-4). This Friday and Saturday excape a bit of the heat and head on up to Fairfield. The C Me Later Arena, located on the west side of Fairfield, will host the 2017 Camas County Rodeo on July 7th and 8th starting at 6:00 p.m. each evening. Along with all your favorite rodeo events, this rodeo features Hometown Bullriding (call
539-3565 if you think you’re brave enough). Admission is $8 (under 8 Free). Slack events will be held on Saturday at
10 a.m. (ICA, IPRA, Pro-West) Next weekend, the Atomic Days Rodeo will be held in Arco, Idaho, on July 14th and 15th. Part of Arco’s Atomic Days, this year marks Butte County’s 100th year. Rodeo events will begin at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 8 & under (CPRA, IPRA) The 2017 Lincoln County Rodeo & Rodeo will be held July 22th and 29th at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Shoshone, Idaho. Junior Rodeo will be held on Saturday, July 22, and the Ranch Rodeo on Wednesday, July 26th. IMPRA Rodeo events will be held on July 27th & 28th beginning at 8:00 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 & under. (ICA, IPRA) The 2017 Jerome County Fair and Rodeo will be held August 8th through August 12th in Jerome, Idaho. Rodeo events on the 8th, 9th & 10th. (PRCA) The 2017 Gooding County Fair and Rodeo will begin on Friday, August 11th with the Junior Rodeo at 4:00 p.m. Pro-Rodeo events will be held August 17th, 18th & 19th. (PRCA)
