The coffee shop has long been a traditional place for sharing the events of life. Who’s new in town, how are the crops doing, who’s getting married... or devorced, what’s the weather going to be, and a whole host of other bits of tittle tattle. It can also be a place to find a friendly ear when life is hard. Steve and Marti Scott of Wendell recently opened the doors to a new coffee house at the north end of Wendell - The Blessed Bean. The doors (or drive-up windows) open at 4 in the morning, Monday thru Saturday for those early risers and close at 6 in the evening (4:00 on Saturday). Marti started her coffee making coureer at JR Java and ever since it closed she has wanted to return to the grind. It took two years of planning to finally open on June 1st, but
