Lincoln County History Days The rainy weekend did not detour the folks in Lincoln County from enjoying the opening of the new home for their Historical Museum (the Mason Hall north of the courthouse). Along with the parade, vendors, and the exhibits at the museum, Shoshone residents witnessed a bank robbery by the notorious Black Jack Shootout Gang for a short video of the shootout, goto: couriernews.webs.com It was probably not wise to rob the bank right in front of so many people, but Black Jack’s men didn’t appear to be shooting on all cylinders (at least the ones that count). If you missed the excitement, be comforted - Black Jack has as many lives as a cat - and the Museum is open every Friday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. -------------------------------------------------There is a line in Pixar’s “The the wide variety of ways people captured Incredibles” that describes much our family history on film.
