Camas County Fair Dates Announced On Friday of last week, the Camas County Fair Board announced that the 2015 Camas County Fair will be held August 6th thru August 9th. The Camas County Fair is normally held on the first weekend in August (July 30 thru August 2), however another major event has been scheduled for those dates. Rather than compete that event, the fair board decided to postpone the fair by one week. The board is also looking for additional - energetic - people wanting to serve

on a fair committee. If you would like to help with this great community event, contact Gayle Bachtell, Connie Funkhouser, Vicki Cook, Deanna Hoskinson, Wes Walker, or Sam Stroud. The conflicting event to be held on July 31st thru August 2nd is the Mountain Home Country Music Festival. This three day music concert is expected to bring in 20,000 plus people to the concert site located about twenty miles west of Fairfield. The Mountain Home Country Music Festival is the latest addition to the Willamette Country Music Concert series which has events in Brownsville, Oregon (August 14-16) and Cape Blanco on the Oregon coast (July 31-Aug 2).
