Made LOCAL PRODUCTS IN LONDON
The city’s top creatives fill your day with gorgeous products
We’re so lucky that London is brimming with super-talented creatives who design, make and sell gorgeous products to fill your big day. Not only do these products look amazing, but by buying local you’re supporting small businesses and reducing your carbon footprint. What’s not to love?
MEET HANNAH KATHERINE CLARK OF DELICIOUS BISCUIT CO.
Tell us about your company… I offer bespoke handcrafted biscuits, which make the perfect addition to weddings as favours, name cards or thank you gifts. I was originally an interior designer, but I took a step back after my daughter was born and put my creativity into something that I love, while allowing me to be at home as much as possible.
What’s your most popular wedding product? It has to be our signature highly detailed floral biscuit, which makes the perfect edible favour.
Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? When you shop locally not only are you supporting a small business, but the level of service you receive and the attention to detail you get in comparison to a shelf-bought item is incomparable.
What does your dream customer look like? My dream customer is someone who shows me their colour palette and gives me their ideas then lets me run with it. I always find the designs come out so beautifully when this happens.

MEET NAYLA ADAM OF NAYLA’S TREASURES
Tell us about your company… I specialise in custom face veils and headpieces. Born in Kenya and with roots in the Baluchi tribe, I’m greatly influenced by jewellery from different cultures and traditions. I moved to England when I was 11 years old, and it was in London where I honed my skills as a jewellery designer. I believe in honouring where we’re from through jewellery, and a wedding is the best time to celebrate cultures and traditions.
What’s your most popular wedding product? Our crystal face veil is much sought-after. It features clear faceted glass beads on silver or gold plated metal.
Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? You get to support your local economy while having all the opportunities to have your day exactly as you envisioned. You also get to appreciate the skill and craftsmanship in the products you buy.

What’s your signature style? I like to think I can cater to people from all walks of life – it’s all about how you style it! An amazing headpiece can look great with a white dress, lehenga, sari or dirac.
Tell us about your company… For forty years, Purely Diamonds has been designing and handcrafting jewellery for couples across the world. We’re a multi-award-winning familyrun company, which was founded by jewellery designer Stephen Tyler in the 1970s and is now run by myself and my sister, Stephanie.

What’s your most popular wedding product? Wedding rings and diamond eternity rings are our most-loved products. We also offer a range of diamond jewellery to add some sparkle to a couple’s big day.
Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? We’ve been skilfully crafting diamond jewellery in our London workshop since 1979. Each piece is made to order, making every item as special as the love they represent. Shopping local enables products to be specially crafted to the budget and time frame of the customer.
What does your dream customer look like? Our dream customers are couples in love who are looking to symbolise their eternity together with a ring (or two!). The tradition of exchanging rings begins the foundation of their happily ever after.

MEET KATHERINE ELIZABETH OF KATHERINE ELIZABETH MILLINERY MEET SINEAD CAREY OF PAPERGRACE

Tell us about your company… I offer bespoke millinery headpieces for weddings, which are all designed and created in house to clients’ specifications. We also offer millinery events. Fabulous for hen parties, it allows guests to immerse themselves in beautiful fabrics, beads and trimmings to make a gorgeous fascinator to wear to the big day.
What’s your most popular wedding product? My small lace headpiece with veiling, which is hand-beaded and very delicate. It’s ideal for the bride who wants something special without being too over the top.

Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? Especially after the pandemic, we all need to support our local businesses so they can build themselves back up. If we all went to big chains, the beautiful little boutiques wouldn’t survive. It’s important to keep bespoke businesses alive for future generations.
What does your dream customer look like? Someone who wants a piece handmade especially for her, something that no one else will ever have. I particularly love vintage glamour for wedding; the 1920s to 1940s was such a romantic era. Tell us about your company… PaperGrace is an award-winning design studio in London, creating stylish stationery for weddings and events worldwide. For every occasion, we offer contemporary yet timeless designs, from invites to set the tone, to magical onthe-day touches and beyond.
What’s your most popular wedding product? The most popular stationery collections at the moment are those that create a layered look. Invitations, RSVPs and detail cards all stacked on top of each other set the scene for a stylish wedding as soon as guests open the envelope. Welcome signs are also a must-have item for the big day.
Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? While we offer a sample service, nothing beats meeting face-to-face for a coffee and a chat while browsing our collections.
What’s your signature style? I love to create modern, refined designs for super-stylish couples who want a contemporary feel for their day. I’m a complete sucker for monochrome and neutral tones.

Tell us about your company… I specialise in creating one-off bespoke trainers. I chat with my clients to fi nd out the things that are important to them, which I then turn into artwork on their shoes. Before launching my business, I studied fi ne art and graphic design at university and worked as an art director for six years.
What’s your most popular wedding product? My customised Nike Air Force 1.
Why should couples choose local suppliers for their wedding? By working with local artists like myself, it allows the customer to have a one-to-one experience. I always involve clients in the process and will hand-deliver items whenever possible – it all adds to the experience.
What does your dream customer look like? I love getting to know my clients and what matters most to them, which in turns makes each pair of shoes completely individual.
