Within 150 acres of stunning parkland, Manor of Groves Hotel is a Georgian manor house with an 18-hole golf course. Located in 350-acres, Micklefield Hall creates the perfect backdrop to luxurious and high-end weddings.

Thanks to the helpful staff, the property is maintained to a high standard and provides many Instagramable spaces. Popular spots include the ancient 450-year-old oak tree, circular pond and the grand stone staircase.

The property has many beautiful outdoor spaces, such as the secluded walkways to nature’s very own aisle lined with herbaceous borders that lead up to the romantic temple. The location provides a dreamy space for couples to tie the knot surrounded by 200 guests when the British weather allows it. Or lovebirds can exchange vows in the stunning Great Barn in front of the striking wall of flowers, which create a photographic backdrop. The barn’s exterior is sleek with dark-wood cladding, grandglazed entrances, cherry trees and a newly restored patio area. Next to the French fountain, the Garden Room can accommodate 80 guests for intimate weddings.

Drinks receptions can occur in a few locations, including the rolling lawns in front of the Georgian manor house, the terrace outside the potting shed, or the heated marquee with chandeliers and cream drapes.

There are various reception spaces at the property. The Great Barn can comfortably fit up to 200 guests and features smart technology to illuminate the room. With a fully serviced bar, luxurious toiletries in the bathrooms and air-conditioning, lovebirds can relax knowing that friends and family will enjoy this space.

Couples are offered a free tasting evening usually hosted in the Great Bar with the venue’s exclusive catering partners to try some tasty dishes. A free annual open day also introduces couples to the fantastic suppliers and showcases every area of Micklefield Hall.

Set within 22 acres of Hertfordshire parkland, Hunton Park is a stunning mansion that provides the perfect setting for wedding celebrations. The dedicated team is on hand to ensure that every detail on the day will be just right.

As they approach the impressive building up the sweeping driveway, guests will fall in love with the property’s Georgian features and tall-white columns.

Couples can tie the knot outside the Manor House, which creates the ideal backdrop to wedding photography and can host 110 guests. For those looking to host their day in one space, Hunton Park Hotel can accommodate 175 people for the “I dos” and 200 for receptions. For smaller celebrations, the Orangery can cater for up to 65 people for ceremonies and 30 for evening celebrations.

Other reception areas include the Apsley for 40 guests, the Terrace Marquee for 150 loved ones or the Garden Marquee, the latest addition to the property. The marquee is complete with a spacious foyer area with a curved structure and ivory lining on the walls highlighted by an LED star cloth ceiling canopy.

When the big day comes to an end, the delightful annexe offers 62 bedrooms for guests to relax in.
