Ceremonies are held in the Yorkshire Suite (capacity 400), Emily Suite (capacity 100), Ainley Suite (capacity 100) or Halifax Suite (capacity 60), with your reception then held back in the Ainsley, Emily or Yorkshire spaces, depending on the amount of guests you wish to cater for. The largest wedding suite has the capacity for over 300 seated guests for dinner and many more for your evening party.

Combining modern elegance with traditional charm, Kenwood House dates back to 1845 and was originally built as the home of George Wostenholm, a Sheffield cutlery manufacturer. Situated within 12 acres of picturesque grounds, guests can enjoy drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake and take in the stunning surroundings. The grounds also provide the perfect space if you’d like to add garden games for friends and family to enjoy.

The Lakeview is the larger suite which can accommodate up to 140 guests for a wedding breakfast and 180 guests for an evening reception. There’s also The Terrace (70 capacity), which forms part of the House and dates back to the 1800s. Or choose The Cutlers Room (80 capacity), where you’ll enjoy its high ceilings, chandeliers, ornate windows and mirrors.

Originally built in 1889 as a steel merchants for a prominent Sheffieldian, The Mowbray has a story behind even the smallest item. All lighting and furniture is custom made from reclaimed treasures, including a 1940s chandelier allowing for a beautiful authentic experience. What’s more, the venue comes complete with a beautiful set of sliding factory doors, plus red brick architecture that sits perfectly against the industrial landscape.

Although not able to host ceremonies; instead advising guests to say their vows in their sister venue, The Chimney House; The Mowbray does host spectacular receptions.These take place in the main space of The Mowbray, with social feasting for up to 150 guests and with its reclaimed tables laden with fresh, seasonal food straight from their kitchens. There’s also a 100 year old mahogany drinks cabinet that forms the ideal cocktail bar!

Located in the heart of Handsworth, this idyllic Grade II listed venue provides the perfect setting for your wedding day. Located behind St. Mary’s Church, it’s completely self-contained and features private outdoor seating, a variety of function rooms of various sizes, beautiful gardens plus ample on-site parking. The recently refurbished event space provides the ideal blank canvas and can be transformed in an abundance of ways to suit your requirements.

Wed in either the Ballifield or Orgreave rooms; ideal for more intimate ceremonies of up to 45 guests. There’s also the Main Hall; a wonderful, modern space for ceremonies of up to 140 guests that can easily be transformed to suit any kind of theme or colour scheme. You’ll then host your reception again in any of the above spaces.
