The magnificent Grade I listed mansion is set on 121 acres of Grade II listed gardens, complete with a Versailles-style canal that provides the perfect backdrop to photographs.
Licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies with the option to hire the venue exclusively, couples are sure to create their dream day. Exchange vows alongside 120 people in The Stapleton James Suite, which boasts neutral décor to suit all colour schemes and themes. The beautiful chandeliers add a touch of glamour, while the white chiffon ceiling drapes and fairylights create a magical atmosphere. Or why not opt for The Drawing Room, which can host up to 60 loved ones? The area’s perfect for celebrations with an inviting environment, lots of natural daylight, views of the canal and direct access to the outside garden. For more intimate ceremonies, The Canal View offers a stunning setting for 50 people. Located outside of the beautiful mansion, The Summer Pavilion has a capacity of 120 people and provides the ideal space to say “I do” surrounded by stunning gardens and historic trees.
Wedding breakfasts with 120 people are held in The Stapleton James, which offers flexible floor plan options due to its generous size. The room is fully air-conditioned to help guests remain comfortable and is closely situated to the main bar.
Continue the celebrations in The Lounge with 150 guests. The wellsituated space can accommodate entertainment to help keep guests in one place. After dancing the night away, loved ones can retreat to the 70 on-site bedrooms instead of worrying about travelling home.

The Kingston Maurward Estate is an idyllic location for weddings in the heart of the Dorset countryside. With its parkland approach and elegant sweeping drive, the 18th-century Georgian house and ornate rooms set the scene for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions.


The 750-acre estate comprises many beautiful spaces, including formal gardens laid out in the style of Capability Brow, a beautiful walled garden, a red garden, terraces and many more. The rolling lawns and beautiful lake are perfect for memorable photos.
The Pengelly Room is the largest of the staterooms, which features
Italian hand-painted wallpaper from the 19th-century and can host 96 loved ones for ceremonies. Or, why not opt for the Whatmoor Room? The airy space with large original windows and an original wooden floor can host 58 people. Alternatively, the Old Library is the ideal option with wooden panels, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and rich tasselled curtains. For those after al fresco events, outdoor ceremonies can occur in the Red Garden and The Terrace overlooking the lake.

Set on the top of an impressive headland jutting out into the sea, surrounded on three sides by high cliffs and bordered by mature woodland on the other, Durlston Castle is set within Durlston Country Park National Nature Reserve. The clifftop paradise boasts stunning views, wildlife and wildflowers.
The Victorian Castle is a unique building with stone turrets, a terracotta balustrade around the copper-roofed Belvedere room and exclusive terraces. The building has a long stone wall running along its spine, upon which are numerous stone inscriptions and carved maps, all built in the 1880s.
The glass-sided Belvedere room with stunning views of Old Harry Rocks, Isle of Wight and the English Channel sits on the top of the recently renovated Victorian Castle. The exquisite location for intimate weddings of 50 people is perfect for the vows followed by drinks receptions on the exclusive roof terrace. For larger celebrations with 120, the Gallery has a stunning glass front overlooking the sea, a rear stone wall and wooden flooring. It’s perfect for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts surrounded by loved ones. For those after al fresco celebrations, the Amphitheatre is a grassy outdoor space with seating looking out across the sea.
Adjacent to the Castle is the Great Globe, an extraordinary feature that provides a beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures.
