IConservation Nature Center in Kirkwood, MO. It is extremely important to us to be good stewards of our natural resources, and to educate others the work through a competitive bid process. Once they were on site, Chris’ crew finished the job in eight days, to do the same. Wise use is a consistent theme throughout the exhibits as well as how individuals can help in their own back yards. I met Chris Siewing of Nature’s ReCreations back in 2011 when we were looking for options to repair and upgrade the water source in our wildlife viewing area. We had a small, block style waterfall that was failing and was no longer repairable. We were adding water daily and decided replacement was the best option. Chris listened carefully to our ideas and never “told” us what we wanted. He was honest about what would work and said he could deliver our vision. After visiting some of his work sites, I was convinced. A very generous donation made it possible for the nature center to pursue the work. Nature’s Re-Creations was selected for and the work is still impressive. The feature looks like an Ozark stream that has been flowing there for years. In addition, Chris created the design to make use of rainwater off the roof to feed the feature and allow us to hook up a hose to water the surrounding landscape. The feature is one of the most popular with the visitors and the animals that visit the feeders as well as a great example of wise use of resources. I have worked with many contractors over the years. Chris does business in a way that rivals the rest for courtesy, professionalism
and commitment. He kept his word and kept us informed, including checking in daily to make sure we were happy with the work. When they were finished, the crew cleaned up the You can visit Powder Valley Conservaarea and we could tion Nature Center, nestled within 112 hardly tell they acres of oak-hickory forest.
