In Sync Youth Information Service Sustainable Kildare was a year long campaign, ran by County Kildare Chamber and sponsored by Intel in collaboration with Global Action Plan and Ducky. The campaign involved three separate challenges where businesses competed against one another to reduce their carbon emissions through changing small things in their daily activities e.g., taking a shorter shower, walking to work instead of driving, turning off unnecessary lights etc. The overall celebration and prize giving took place on Wednesday the 22nd of June, with prizes given out for:

Overall, for the three challenges, Kildare businesses came together and saved 56,106kg of C02. This is equivalent to almost 7 million (6,824,882) iPhone charges. Congratulations to all the businesses that took part in this initiative.
