SONYA KAVANAGH - Kildare County Council
Sonya Kavanagh has been appointed Chief Executive of Kildare County Council. Sonya is a native of the Ballyteague area in west Kildare. Sonya has worked in key roles within KCC including economic, community and cultural development; roads; transportation and public safety; housing and corporate services.
CLODAGH JUDGE - AuxiliaGroup
AuxiliaGroup are delighted to announce the appointment of Clodagh Judge to the role of Head of Operations, as their team continues to grow.
Clodagh brings a wealth of experience from the Public and Private sectors over the past 20 years. Her previous engagement successfully delivered the highest results nationally in her role as COO within a not-for-profit charity; ensuring KPI’s were met and within budget, while overcoming the challenges of working as essential service providers throughout a global pandemic. With her collaborative work style, Clodagh demonstrates full and successful delivery of services, with an unwavering focus on fully engaging with clients to encourage results through service provision.

GER ALLEY - Killashee Hotel
Ger Alley has been appointed General Manager of Killashee Hotel. One of Ger’s first tasks is to oversee the first of phase of the €3 million refurbishment plan that is currently underway. Having graduated from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in 2007, Ger started his career as the Duty Manager at Killashee Hotel. It is serendipitous that he returns 15 years later to take on the role of General Manager. Ger was awarded General Manager of the Year at The Hotel Awards 2019. He joined FBD Hotels & Resorts in 2019 and is thrilled to continue his career within the group as the General Manager of Killashee Hotel.
REBECCA DOOLIN - Maynooth University
Rebecca Doolin was recently promoted to the Vice-President External Affairs at Maynooth University. She leads the oversight and development of the University’s external engagement strategy; directs its high-level advocacy initiatives with governments, business representative bodies and other major stakeholders; and leads the communications, marketing and alumni functions, as well as the philanthropic work of the Maynooth University Foundation. She is a member of MU’s senior management team.
Prior to arriving at Maynooth in 2014, Rebecca worked at a Boston-based public affairs consultancy, served as Press Secretary to US Senator Byron Dorgan in Washington, DC and began her career as a journalist.
