Applegreen is proud to be an Irish Company.

From Humble beginnings in 1992, Applegreen started with the opening of our first service station in Ballyfermot, West Dublin. From there, under the stewardship of Chairman Bob Etchingham and CEO Joe Barrett, Applegreen expanded in Ireland and other jurisdictions, growing year on year. As of July 2023, the business operates 630 Forecourt Sites and employs c. 16,890 people across Ireland, UK and USA. To this day, Applegreen is still under the guardianship of Bob and Joe and supported by our dedicated team in our headquarters in Dublin.

Applegreen has been trading in County Kildare since 1996 and currently operates 9 forecourt service stations, together with its National Distribution Centre based in Celbridge, the company directly employs over 350 people from all corners of Kildare. www.applegreenstores.com
