This exhibition brings together work from a number of intergenerational female artists, who have a connection through friendship and professional collaboration, under the theme ‘Being Woman’.
Through a variety of mediums from sculpture, textiles, ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting, video and collage, each artist explores the histories and subjectivities of what it is to be ‘woman’.
Taking inspiration from the natural world, powerful queens and goddesses, female archetypes and the human condition, the exhibition crosses borders of both subject matter and intergenerational boundaries, presenting the work of each female artist at various points in their life and practice

Seating plans for events which have allocated seating can be found in the show information on our website.
Please note that we are moving away from printed tickets and embracing digital tickets. Please download or screenshot the QR code for the event that you are attending and have this available for scanning upon arrival at the venue.

The Corn Hall Diss is committed to making our venue as accessible as possible.
The Box Office, Main Auditorium, Waveney Room, Gallery, Bar and café are all on the ground floor with level access. Lift access is available to the first floor. Both floors have fully accessible toilets.
We are now working with Nimbus Disability, a Social Enterprise that has received international recognition for its Access Card Scheme.
This scheme includes a new level of validation, meaning that our tickets and venue are being used effectively by those who require access facilities, and enabling us to mitigate any possible misuse of our access tickets.
We can only accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs at events. Please inform the Box Office when you book so we can reserve your space.
From 01/03/2025, all our access customers will require either an Access Card or a free The Corn Hall Digital Access Pass number when purchasing access tickets. Please visit www.thecornhall.co.uk/visit/accessibility to find out more.
Our Main Auditorium and the Waveney Room are both equipped with induction loops. These work for amplified events.
