Waveney Valley Leisure Centre has an activity for everyone!

Waveney Valley Leisure Centre is Bungay’s premier exercise venue and offers a wide range of activities for people who want to work up a sweat.

The site is run by award-winning leisure operator Everyone Active, who took over the management of the facility in March 2021 and work in partnership with East Suffolk Council.

A £3.4million refurbishment, completed in 2020, has breathed new life into the centre.

The state-of-the-art, 50-station fitness suite was included in the refurbishment, while a new group cycling studio was added. The group fitness studio features a range of classes, including bodybalance, bodypump and sh’bam.

In addition, the 25m pool regularly hosts swimming lessons for all ages and the flume can be used during family swim sessions.

It isn’t all about working out until you drop, of course. The sauna offers a great opportunity to relax after a workout and a well-earned drink and snacks can be enjoyed in the café.

Everyone Active is on a mission to get

everyone doing at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, five times a week – or 150 minutes.
