Latest ‘Walk with the Mayors’ features special guest BY BREE LAUGHLIN The World

The latest ‘Walk with the Mayors’ event hosted by Coos Bay and North Bend city leaders attracted a large group of supporters rallying around a common cause of mental health and recovery. The monthly walks were formed to create a unique opportunity for connection, conversation and a shared appreciation for both of the cities. Bandon Chamber hosts “Jingle and Mingle” BY BREE LAUGHLIN The World

The Bandon Chamber of Commerce celebrated the holiday season with their members and community friends through a “Jingle and Mingle” at the Bandon Fisheries Warehouse. The event included appetizers, refreshments and a meet and greet with Bandon’s new city manager, Torrey Contreras. Chamber of Commerce leaders and board members also introduced themselves

A seasoned local artist with strong ties to the community is exhibiting her work at a North Bend art gallery. Becky Eddy has had many exhibits across the country during her career as an artist, and continues to exhibit in many galleries along the coast and inland to the cities.
