Victim Advocate Full-time advocate for the Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center (DVRCC) office located in Bowman, ND. Will provide direct advocacy including support, assistance, information, and referrals to victims of sexual assault/abuse, domestic violence, stalking, and dating violence in Bowman County. Responsible for the assessment of the individual victim’s needs and will work together with law enforcement and other community and county agencies/resources to fulfill those needs which may include transportation, shelter, referrals, medical, and social services. Also responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Bowman office and ensuring that all data and client documentation is appropriately maintained. Must have demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity regarding the issues of sexual assault and domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. At least two years minimum experience providing crisis intervention, victim advocacy, working with volunteers, or any other skills and experience that demonstrate the ability to perform the job of advocate effectively. We prefer canidates with experience, but we will train.
