Bronze Coast Gallery has been in operation for over 30 years and represents more than 50 artists from the northwest and beyond. We offer a wide variety of sculpture, from classic limited-edition bronze to innovative contemporary artwork and unique paintings. We are delighted to participate in Cannon Beach’s annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival, where our gallery will be hosting four of our remarkably talented artists.
Using the patina process on bronze plates as his canvas, Nathan Bennett mines new veins in painting. His landscapes have a surreal quality, a sense of otherness, which is partly due to his unusual medium. Taking the chemicals normally used to finish bronze sculpture, he wields them as he would paint on a sheet of silica bronze which then becomes his unique canvas. “I seek not for wealth, transmuting the metals into gold, but to manipulate them into a one-of-a-kind work of art.”
Ceramic artist, Deborah Bridges creates provoking figurative sculpture. The exploration of an idea in a piece is central to Deborah’s work, and she will work in a series until that initial idea is exhausted within the form. “I love the complicated and mysterious humanity of the figures that grapple with the full range of human experience, the dark as well as the light. The face paint points to the masks we wear as we try to hold on to the stories of our personas.”
Jim Eppler has been praised for his lifelike recreations and his gentle interpretations of the world around us. He recreates these visions for our participation and his respect and appreciation for nature allows his art to flow so freely. Eppler has always been a keen observer of nature and has spent hours capturing images of light to underscore select components of movement and animals within their landscapes.
Robert Rogers is inspired by many cultures and historic lore; greatly influenced by his many visits to the great art meccas of Europe. For more than 40 years, Robert has designed and created fine jewelry as an art and expression of love for the craft. His highly detailed work reflects his skills, not only as a jeweler, but also as a master wax carver. Robert’s forms of art are layered by the actual creation of the piece and his descriptive storyline that develops with the feeling and passion of each piece as it is being created.

To celebrate the 2025 Stormy Weather Arts Festival, the Jeffrey Hull Gallery will introduce new original work and prints of Hull’s new oil painting ‘Symphony In Gray.’ (show above) Jeffrey Hull started painting in his teens, but focused on his fascination with watercolors over 50 years ago and never looked back. His command of painting and love for the Pacific Northwest Coast places the viewer directly into scenes of sandy beaches, wind-sculpted trees and dramatic cliffs draped in coastal mist. Since 1987, he and his wife Carol have offered his paintings of the beautiful coast in their spacious second-floor gallery at Sandpiper Square in the heart of downtown Cannon Beach. Over time, both the gallery and his paintings have grown; he’s added oils to his repertoire; and the gallery also now proudly produces high quality reproductions of his work in house. The gallery is open daily, 10am-5:30pm.
White Bird Gallery kicks off Stormy Weather Arts Festival with a new exhibition celebrating mixed media artworks in an array of materials and styles, including works created from repurposed books, paper & wax collage, stitching, embroidery, assemblage sculpture and more!
Our weekend events include a gallery demonstration by featured artists Valerie Savarie who uses altered books as the centerpiece of her creations. Watch Valerie transform vintage books through cutting, carving and stitching them into one-of-a-kind wall sculptures that tell her own unique stories.
Beginning Friday morning, the gallery is hosting a weekend long jewelry pop-up show. Debbie Shaner of BeMused Creations is showcasing her old-soul enamel jewelry that is inspired by the colors and textures of nature. Mainly working in torch and kiln fired enamel, Debbie’s pieces have a vintage feeling, with designs that use botanical forms and richly saturated colors to create original pieces of wearable art jewelry. Meet Debbie in the gallery on Friday or Saturday and find that special piece of jewelry at her pop-up show!
In our Mixed Media Group Exhibition, we’re thrilled to be introducing a new gallery artist during the festival happenings. We welcome the artworks of Nikki Virbitsky to our gallery lineup. Nikki’s intimately scaled pieces use hand embroidery layered over antique imagery. Her skillful renderings are slowly stitched into found photographs creating a quirky and delightful juxtaposition of subjects and textures.
