incoln City is located on the scenic Oregon Coast at the 45th parallel, situated 11 feet above sea level. It is bordered by 680-acre Devils Lake and the Coast Range on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west. Lincoln City boasts 7Â˝ miles of beautiful, clean sandy beaches, the Salmon River to the north and the Siletz Bay and River to the south. Chinook Winds Casino spearheads and assists in the development of many community wide events such as the Celebration of Honor, the last weekend in September, an event that honors veterans of the armed forces and active duty personnel and their families. Sponsorship is provided and/or donations made to nearly all of the community events throughout the year. Most Special Events at Chinook Winds include a component that provides funding for local charitable organizations. Since 1995 Chinook Winds Casino Resort has been recognized for its many contributions made to better the environment and the community including recognition as a Visionary Partner in the Pacific Power Green Power Partnership program. The Siletz Tribe is proud of its contributions through employment, monetary donations and cooperative measures to Lincoln County and the state of Oregon. The Tribe has honored its tradition of sharing within the community by distributing more than $8.9 million through the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund and other Tribal resources. Chinook Winds has donated more than $2,280,000 in cash and fundraising items since it opened in 1995.

amaritan North Lincoln Hospital (SNLH) is an accredited 25-bed hospital located in a peaceful setting on Devils Lake in Lincoln City, Ore. Since 1967, SNLH has provided quality medical services using state-of-the-art technology for community residents and coastal visitors. Located between Salishan and Taft, Cutler City is a quiet beach community. A great place to gallery and antique shop. The internationally known Freed Gallery brings people from all over the world to the area.

TAFT

Most convenient beach access is right down SW 51st Street. The area has been refurbished and is home to hotels, small beach shops, galleries, restaurants and even a microbrewery. The Jennifer Sears Glass Studio and The North Lincoln County Historical Museum are also located in Taft.

About five miles south of Lincoln City is the Salishan area, located in Gleneden Beach. Salishan has a gated community of lovely homes on the spit and the hillside of Highway 101. Gleneden Beach is a quiet, homey neighborly community, known for its huge July 4th Parade. The area is home to Salishan Spa & Golf Resort, too.

NELSCOTT

Along Highway 101 is a short row of shops and restaurants known as Nelscott. It’s walking and pet friendly neighborhood has two of the nicest beach accesses in Lincoln City.

Beach shopping at its finest is in Oceanlake. The quaint shops and restaurants you come to the coast to find make their home in Oceanlake. This is the place to stroll along and really sample the beach living experience.

NORTH LINCOLN CITY, WECOMA AND ROADS END

The Chinook Winds Casino Resort anchors the north end of Lincoln City as a major draw for visitors and local folks alike. Two shopping centers offer more shopping along with an interesting mix of businesses along Highway 101.
