DREAM REVEAL What a great day on April 26! We met Tyler and his family at our Chase River store and Help Fill A Dream Foundation gave him a trip to Disney world! We met Tyler last year before he was flown to Chicago for surgery, not available in Canada to have a shunt installed in his liver to treat a rare condition called portal vein thrombosis.

Tyler is feeling great and on their way to Disney World on May 13th.

ESQ. RECYCLING We received our Earth Day certificate today from Cascades about our Esquimalt store! Check out how our recycling program helped the environment!

Today wraps a month long campaign with Country Grocer! What an amazing month it was!

Together, we encouraged a very important conversation about organ donation throughout the entire month of April which is also National Organ & Tissue Donor Awareness Month. Due to our amazing partnership with WestJet, we had the opportunity to raffle off two round-trip flights anywhere WestJet flies which helped fundraise and bring awareness to our program.

We want to thank all of the Country Grocer stores, staff members, product sponsors, WestJet, Paradise Island Cheese, and everyone who participated in supporting the David Foster Foundation this April.

CANADA 150TH PARADE FLOAT! David Gray has been at it again creating us an amazing Canada Celebrated Parade FLOAT! We love it and can't wait to show it off in the parade! Stay tuned for full parade float pictures.

Big Boots to Fill as Rick MacKinnon "fully" retires from Country Grocer SSI ... Rob Lowrie and Pauline Martens stepped into his big boots March 20th, trained with Rick for a couple of weeks and are now the Community Relations Team. Yes ... it took two to replace Rick!! — with Rob Lowrie, Rick MacKinnon and Pauline Martens.
