2023: WHAT A YEAR
“YES, DR. FRANKLIN, WE WILL KEEP IT!”
Our great Republic has never been as besieged from within as now. Fortunately, there is a corps of dedicated Americans in the forefront of the conflict.
Whether the battleground be our nation’s economy, defenses, political or moral righteousness, the members of the Council for National Policy are leading and in case after case; winning.
When one looks to the leaders in every critical fight, virtually without exception, they will be members of CNP.
Causes such as enjoining families to take back school boards and universities, exposing efforts to weaken our security, explaining the shifting monetary and economic table both here and abroad, securing victories in the courts or uniting patriots in political contests at home or in the marble halls of Capitols.......in all of these and much more the champion is invariably a Council member.
The outstanding organizations and principals who specialize in particular areas of battle know that they can always call upon CNP to corral additional support to join with them when the need arises.
Here is a brief reminder of the friends and fellowship that is such a major part of our association. Uniting with fellow soldiers advancing the most noble cause in the World.......America. Thank you for your faithfulness to her and generations to come.
Warmly,
Bob McEwen Executive Director

Meetings
THE RITZCARLTON, TYSONS CORNER
MCLEAN, VIRGINIA
A stellar gathering.
Our annual Washington, DC meeting was a spectacular event. Featuring elected officials and the brightest minds on critical issues, it was a stimulating program covering a wide range of topics. We reflected on the successes already achieved halfway through the year, and armed ourselves with knowledge for future battles.
A panel of experts addressed escalating tensions with China in light of spy balloons, activists and parental rights advocates detailed how pervasive and extreme the transgender movement has become, we created a gameplan for eliminating rogue prosecutors and explored how we can protect life at the state level.

HOW THE 118TH CONGRESS CHANGED THE STATUS QUO
The 118th Congress began with a contentious battle for the Speaker of the House. By withholding support to the heir-apparent, courageous Members of Congress were able to secure institutional changes to make Congress more accountable to the American people. It took 20 Members with conviction to ensure our elected representatives have 72 hours to read a bill before they vote on it, to guarantee conservative voices on the all-important Rules Committee, and to restore the Motion to Vacate the Speaker that Nancy Pelosi eliminated. We recognized 16 of those Members at our May Gold Circle event.

FAIRMONT SCOTTSDALE PRINCESS
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA
Superb speakers, precipitous rapidfire information, and on-time agenda!
A Scottsdale sunset was a wonderful way to mark the end of another significant year of CNP meetings. Our time together provided an occasion to review how we have moved the needle while adjusting our focus to the priorities that deserve our immediate attention.
Former gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and multiple panels reinforced the need for election integrity measures, Arizona Speaker of the House Ben Toma shared how the state became the first in the nation to pass universal school choice, and Turning Point USA Founder and President Charlie Kirk closed the meeting with a hopeful look at our odds of success in the future.

THE TIMES REQUIRE US TO HAVE COURAGE UNDER FIRE
The Friday night dinner in Scottsdale provided a sobering look at the threats we face from a weaponized justice system. Politically motivated prosecutions have been aimed at conservatives who dared to serve in the Trump Administration, lawyers who offer to defend those officials, and average citizens participating in the political process by serving as an elector in their state. The time is now for us to stand with those who have been subjected to political harassment, mounting legal bills, and even threatened with jail time.

EDUCATION
Arizona led the way for school choice to sweep the nation. Freedom in education is a winning issue to celebrate.
PLATFORM
Party platforms still matter to give voters a choice, not an echo. CNP leaders learned how to make their voices heard.
BALLOTS Topics
Our ballots must be protected to ensure fair elections, but we must also protect our state constitutions from dangerous ballot initiatives.

“FREEDOM IS NEVER MORE THAN ONE GENERATION AWAY FROM EXTINCTION.”
—RONALD REAGAN
Each year, through the generous support of CNP members, we award several different types of scholarships to young, influential leaders. As Ronald Reagan stated, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Because of this, it is imperative that we continue to provide opportunities to expose rising stars to our community of accomplished leaders. These experiences encourage their intellectual and spiritual growth as well as ground them in the foundational principles of conservative policy. Contributing to these programs is an important, meaningful, and worthy investment.
AMERICA’S FUTURE FUND
America’s Future Fund (AFF) is a scholarship fund used to assist young, proven leaders to attend one of our meetings to take advantage of the unique educational resources and networking opportunities that only CNP can provide. In that spirit, we believe a new generation of leaders is emerging and would benefit from being part of CNP. A limited number of scholarships are available each year and an application is required in order to receive any funds.

KEY INFLUENCERS PROGRAM
02
Key Influencers Program (KIP) provides financial assistance to leaders who do not have the means to participate in CNP meetings but are experts in their fields and hold exceptional influence (i.e. congressional decision makers). These key influencers will be able to provide policy insight at both state and federal levels, allowing movement leaders to lend their support where necessary by encouraging their constituencies to get involved. This program seeks to strengthen the crucial link between government policy and conservative values.
To make a tax-deductible contribution to any of these programs, please contact the CNP office. Invest
WILLIAM F. BUCKLEY JR. SCHOLARSHIPS
03
William F. Buckley Jr. (WFB) Scholarships are available to CNP members under 30 years old. Buckley Council members are required to fund their own travel and lodging to meetings. These scholarships make attendance at CNP meetings more feasible by defraying meeting registration costs. A limited number of scholarships are available each year and an application is required in order to receive any funds.

01 Bill Walton, Doug De Groote, Kevin Freeman, and Alex Pollock lead a session focused on creating protections to resist a complete takeover of our financial institutions, developing strategies to prevent increased government entanglement, central digital currencies, and more.
02 Trent England, Kory Langhofer, Robert Alt, and Scott Walter detail how ballot initiatives have been used to subvert the legislative process and how we protect our constitutions from dangerous amendments.

02 conservative action project (cap)
The Conservative Action Project (CAP) was founded in 2008 by many conservative leaders with former Attorney General Edwin Meese III serving as the Founding Chairman. CAP is currently chaired by Hon. J. Kenneth Blackwell and is designed to facilitate conservative leaders working together on behalf of common goals. Participants include the CEOs of over 100 organizations representing all major elements of the conservative movementeconomic, social and national security.
In 2023, CAP issued thirteen Memos to the Movement, hosted the Conservative Leadership Summit, and engaged in some of the most significant battles on Capitol Hill.
