In-Class and In-Field | $450 | PVHE-117 This 20-hour course builds on Standard First Aid and CPR with additional training for nonurban, backcountry, and remote environments.

Participants learn to plan ahead, prevent injuries, and manage emergencies when help is delayed.

Training includes strategies for providing up to 24 hours of extended care. Portions of the course take place outdoors and require more physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training.
