When to join job, after Hair Transplant?

In the last few years the number of hair transplant surgery in Kolkata has increased significantly. As a surgeon I am trying to answer the most common question asked by the patients, especially male candidates.

When can you resume working? Well, it depends upon your job type, if physical labor in not needed then you can join your job after 2 days. But if it is full of hard labor or tiresome exercise then you should not join work before 2 weeks.

Normal Walk is allowed from the day of the surgery.

What kind of vehicle you ride/drive For two wheeler helmet is mandatory so avoid riding of bike for one month.

You can drive four wheeler after 3 days.

If you are a train driver, avoid it for one week.

For pilots, it is advisable to avoid your job for at least 10 days.

Work at factory Those who need to wear light helmet, advise to avoid work for 2 weeks.

Those who are working in high temperature zone, advise to avoid work for 3 to 4 weeks.

Work area full of dust should be avoid for 2 to 3 weeks.

When to cut hair?

Safe time to go barber is usually after 3 weeks.
