Jessica Hayes is a part-time teacher at Asbury University in the Equine Department and sponsors their Hunter-Jumper Club. As a trainer, Jessica is currently focused on Dressage and Ranch Riding and enjoys training young horses and their student-riders to develop the necessary skills needed to be competitive in Obstacles, Dressage (Western & Traditional), and Ranch Riding. A Lifelong learner of various disciplines, Jessica grew up in the Hunter/Jumper world and was honored to ride intercollegiate for the University of Kentucky and compete in the 1989 Finals.

Over the past 30 years, Jessica has focused on advancing young and green horses to be ready for the professional show ring. She has been blessed to meet and ride with some of the top trainers in the country and has a passion for helping riders better communicate with their horses. She trains and develops students to compete at the National level and prepares teams to be ready for the national stage at the annual Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover That will be competing in western dressage, ranch horse, competitive trail, and traditional dressage.

Jessica has been married since 1992 and has 3 wonderful children.
