What is the Federation of Puerto Rico? LGBTQ+
The LGBTQ+ Federation of Puerto Rico is a collective effort uniting organizations, individuals, and allies in the fight for human rights and equity for the LGBTQ+ community in Puerto Rico. We recognize the achievements of over 50 years of activism and continue working to eradicate discrimination, promote inclusive public policies, and support the overall well-being of our communities.
Why now?
At a time when LGBTQ+ rights face local and global challenges, our Federation emerges as a strategic response to:
• Consolidate the efforts of existing organizations.
• Defend, protect, and expand acquired rights.
• Create a space for support, resources, and collaboration.
OUR MISSION OUR VISION
To unite LGBTQ+ organizations and allies to eradicate all forms of discrimination and anti-LGBTQ+ violence, promoting an inclusive and equitable Puerto Rico.
To build a Puerto Rico where LGBTQ+ individuals live free from discrimination, achieving their maximum individual and community potential.

Defend the human rights of all LGBTQ+ individuals in and outside of Puerto Rico.
