Rhonda Soliz-Silguero, Wastewater Compliance Specialist, was inspired by water, waves, and Spanish when she suggested the winning name for CCW’s newsletter: Agua Talk! For her idea, she received a sweet bag full of CCW swag!
Rhonda has been with CCW for almost five years. When not at work, she and her husband tour the Coastal Bend on their trike bike Great job, Rhonda!

Thanksgiving Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the people and things we are grateful for It’s also a good time to think about enhancing our safety culture at CCW As the holidays begin, think about what you are thankful for, and who is thankful for you
Bring a photo of your loved ones or a meaningful memento to work Place it where you can see it as a reminder of who is waiting for you to come home By appreciating why we are here, we cultivate a mindset that values well-being, both at work and beyond, ensuring we stay vigilant and safe

GREENWOOD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TEAM
SMALL BUT MIGHTY
Built in 1957, the Greenwood WWTP treats about 5 MGD per day. The small but mighty team of 11 at Greenwood gets the job done even when weird stuff shows up in the system - for example, snakes, children’s toys, and jewelry! Looking ahead, the facility is scheduled for a full upgrade beginning in 2025. Way to go team!
