Dr. John Prezas named Executive Director of School Leadership Dr. Prezas currently serves as principal of Sterling B. Martin Middle School. His experience also includes principal of Fred R. Sanders Elementary School, assistant principal of Martin Middle School, and teacher at the elementary and middle school levels.

“I am confident that Dr. Prezas’ experience, collaborative nature and steady leadership style will be great assets to our district as we continue to navigate this unique school year,” said Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez.

Voter registration information The voter registration deadline for the upcoming election is October 5.

Answering phone calls right away and returning messages promptly is one of the quickest, best ways to offer great customer service.

Whenever possible, answer phone calls right away. If the call goes to voicemail, the district’s expectation is that all calls are returned no later than within two business days.

They can be used virtually or in person to help emotionally support your students. Check out more tips on using a mood meter below.

Biometrics screening reminder In order to continue the monthly discount of $60 per month for the health plan year of 2021, employees and spouses covered by the district’s health insurance plan will need to complete and submit the biometrics screening form by October 31, 2020.

The form can be found in the Forms folder at https://www.ccisd.us/ HumanResources/EmployeeBenefits.

Employees can also call RediMD at 1-866-989-2873 to complete this task.
