Good habits to help stay healthy in the workplace • Table for one: Yes, we miss gathering for meals, but eating means removing face coverings and, when done without social distancing, increases the risk of spreading COVID-19. Enjoy your lunch break on your own or in a setting where you can be at least six feet away from others. Some properties have outdoor eating areas, which are also good options. • On the road again: If you must share a vehicle with a co-worker, ensure everyone wears a face covering at all times. • On the other hand: Keep up the frequent hand-washing! Wearing a face covering, maintaining distance and washing hands for at least 20 seconds help prevent the spread of illness. Thank you for helping us foster a healthy environment!
Biometrics screening reminder In order to continue to receive the monthly discount of $60 per month for the health plan year of 2021, employees and spouses covered by the district’s health insurance plan will need to complete and submit the biometrics screening form by October 31, 2020. The form can be found in the Forms folder at https://www.ccisd.us/ HumanResources/EmployeeBenefits. Employees can also call RediMD at 1-866-989-2873 to complete this task. Our community wants your input The Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation is conducting a survey on Quality of Place. The purpose is to gather data on what people like/dislike about our community. The organization wants to use the data to understand Quality of Place and to determine how to address the deficiencies from an economic development perspective.
