Celebrate Thanksgiving safely Thanksgiving is a time when many families travel long distances to celebrate together. This holiday season, consider how you will need to modify your plans to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep your friends, families, and our community healthy and safe. Here are some ideas from the CDC to help you celebrate safely: • Have a small dinner with only people who live in your household • Host a virtual Thanksgiving meal with friends and family who don’t live with you • Safely prepare traditional dishes for family and neighbors who are at higher risk and deliver through a contactless method • Shop online the day after Thanksgiving or the following Monday • Watch sports events, parades, and movies at home For additional information and tips, please visit the CDC Holiday Celebrations and Small Gatherings website.
