CCISD is proud to offer the first Virtual Tech2Teach 2020 on July 29-30, 2020, the largest instructional technology event in Corpus Christi.

Tech2Teach 2020 offers sessions

by CCISD educators and learning partners such as Nearpod, Apple, Smart, Learning.com and Canvas of all levels and specialties.

We are excited to announce this year’s Keynote Speaker, Catlin Tucker. She is a Google Certified Innovator, bestselling author, international trainer, and keynote speaker. Live Links will be provided during the event so participants can connect with the presenters throughout the day.

When registering you have the option to select one or two days of event attendance.

• Option 1: Wednesday, July 29 only - Tech2Teach 2020 Kickoff • Option 2: Thursday, July 30 only - Tech2Teach 2020 Closing and Keynote Speaker, Catlin Tucker • Option 3: Wednesday and Thursday, July 29-30- Kick off and Keynote Speaker, Catlin Tucker Events will be organized by virtual PATHWAYS in order to make it easier for you to find sessions.

SAFESCHOOLS MANDATORY TRAINING CCISD is using SafeSchools training to offer workplace training courses online. All employees are required to complete the Coronavirus training courses.Visit the SafeSchools website to access your training: https://corpuschristi-tx.safeschools. com The deadline to complete your training is Thursday, August 13.

2020 BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTIONS The election for four Board of Trustees positions will be held on Tuesday, November 3. The filing period for Corpus Christi residents interested in running for one of these positions began on Saturday, July 18, and continues through 5 p.m.

Monday, August 17.

Candidate information is available at ccisd.us, and the filing process may be completed entirely online and submitted at elections@ccisd.us. While Corpus Christi ISD properties remain closed to the public, assistance is available at elections@ccisd.us and 695-7427.
