Thank you to our volunteers and staff for a successful Operation K.E.Y.S. (Keeping Every Youth in School) event this year!
Volunteers went door-to-door visiting a total of 223 homes to reconnect them out of school youth with educational opportunities.
A total of 150 contacts were made and several door hangers were left on homes.
“We had a team that went the extra mile and conducted home visits to the emergency contacts to find out if they had any information on the students,” said Jennifer Noyola, coordinator for attendance, dropouts and leavers prevention.
