More than $197K raised at State of the District luncheon The 18th Annual State of the District Luncheon brought together community leaders and supporters and raised more than $197,000 to benefit CCISD. Guests enjoyed student performances and a keynote address from Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez, who highlighted the district’s achievements and bright future. “We are grateful for your support, today and every day, and you have our word we will keep working in the same direction, to help our community’s, our nation’s and our world’s future leaders advance their education,” Dr. Hernandez said. “As you have seen today, CCISD is the Place to Be!”
