BAYSIDE SURVEY

The City of Corpus Christi is in the process of creating a long-range plan for the Bayside area. The city is conducting a survey to help shape the future of Bayside. Take the survey online

SCHOOL MESSENGER

Our district has a text option for receiving information via School Messenger. Employees who have not previously indicated agreement to receive information via text may opt in by texting 67587 with the message “Yes”.

Soaring to new beginnings:

Breaking ground at Hamlin Middle School

Carl O. Hamlin Middle School has served families since 1954. Now, the Hawks are ready to soar to a new chapter.

Oct. 4, CCISD Board of Trustees and district administration officially broke ground on the new Hamlin Middle School. The new campus, which was made possible by Bond 2022, is expected to be complete in 2025.

The campus will be nearly 156 thousand square feet and will include natural lighting, science, computer and art labs and a 9,700 square-foot gymnasium.

Renovations, new library revealed at Moses Menger Elementary School

Students, their families and community members gathered in the Menger Elementary School cafeteria to await the reveal of new renovations to the campus and the library on Oct. 5. Menger Elementary School was built in 1928 and opened its doors in 1929. The campus has served many generations of families throughout its 95-year history.

Renovations to the campus were made possible by Bond 2020, and library renovations were made possible by ESC, Region 2.
