CCISD’s Teacher of the Year program has been a highlight for over 30 years. Each campus is invited to nominate one teacher to take part in the annual recognition program. The district’s Teacher of the Year program is under the auspices of the Texas State Teacher of the Year program. Each campus may determine the method for selecting their campus nominee. According to the state program, the nominee must be a full-time classroom teacher and have taught in CCISD during the previous school year. Librarians and counselors who teach at least four hours a day also may be nominated for the honor. Campus nomination forms and the nominee’s essay portions are due electronically via JotForm link no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8. Nomination packets for the Teacher of the Year program are available via Leaders’ Link, located on the district’s portal.

CCEF thanks all CCISD employees! Thank you to all the CCISD employees who participated in the 2019-2020 CCISD Employee Giving Campaign. The campaign benefits the Corpus Christi Education Foundation, which solely exists to benefit our district. Funds raised support educational grant programs, scholarships for students and recognition for teaching excellence. Thank you for your continued support!
