Make sure to click save, once you have made corrections as needed. Staff who do not have computer access may contact Human Resources to update information.

CCISD PD celebrates Safety Patrol

CCISD Police officers celebrated district Safety Patrol students during the Safety Patrol Appreciation Day event at Funtrackers on May 19.

Students were treated to a day of fun with CCISD PD officers and Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez in thanks for all their hard work in keeping their classmates safe this year.

Nominations open for Caller-Times 2023 Community’s Choice Awards

Nominations are open for the Caller-Times Community Choice Awards. The awards celebrate and recognize the best the community has to offer. Nominations are open through May 25. “Top Employers” is one of the categories featured for nominations. Nominate today.

School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) seeking new members

The Corpus Christi ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is seeking 4 new community/parent members for the August 2023 - July 2025 term. This is a 2-year term commitment. The SHAC assists CCISD in ensuring that local community values are reflected in health education instruction. SHAC’s role includes ensuring a comprehensive program, taking action during meetings on items concerning health education and physical activity, and making recommendations to the CCISD board of trustees.

Application information can be found on the district’s website. The application for the 2023-2025 term closes May 31.

HOPE Mental Health Symposium provides resources for staff, families

On May 18, CCISD partnered with community organizations to host the HOPE Mental Health Symposium. The event offered presentations for parents and had resources available for parents and students.

The district has 15 social workers and counselors available to provide help to students.
