COVID-19 TESTING COVID-19 testing for CCISD staff and students is available at Lozano Instructional Service Center. Clinic hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Appointments may be scheduled online. Walk-ins are based on availability.

2022-2023 Partners in Education Awards

CCISD announced the winners of the 2022 -2023 Partners in Education Awards during a luncheon at the Solomon P. Ortiz International Center.

This event recognizes businesses, organizations and individuals who support CCISD through significant contributions and volunteerism. Honorees at the March 23 event received thanks and recognition from Dr. Roland Hernandez, Superintendent of Schools and Don Clark, President of the CCISD Board of Trustees for their outstanding support of the school district.

CCISD PD Safey Corner

CCISD requires all campuses to conduct, at minimun, one safety drill per six weeks. The next campus safety drill is due April 14, 2023. This drill is a lockdown drill for a weather emergency. Campuses that need assistance can contact the officer that serves their campus or call 361-878-2852.

Ameriflex March 31 deadline

If you still have unused 2022 funds or expenses that still need to be reimbursed, you have until March 31, 2023 to use these funds or submit for reimbursement to Ameriflex. Please do not pay for expenses from the prior plan year with your Ameriflex card.

To ensure funds are pulled from the plan year in which the expense was incurred, please submit your claim through your Ameriflex account. For more information, visit the Ameriflex Help Center or call 888-868-3539.
