Serving up a new look

Brand new serving lines are being installed at 11 campuses and our Central Kitchen as part of a district-wide cafeteria refresh!

These upgrades are part of our continued commitment to providing students with a welcoming, efficient and enjoyable dining experience. The new serving lines bring a modern look and improved functionality. We can’t wait to serve up something special this school year!

Windows 11 upgrade

Technology Services Staff will coordinate with department leads and Principals to identify the date(s) in which your site will be updated. Updates will take place between March 2025 through July 2025. During this time, each site/ department will be provided an inventory of computers that indicates whether they can be updated to Windows 11. All staff should ensure that they have backed up their data prior to the update, including files and browser bookmarks. For more information on how to back up data visit this Knowledge Base article. Staff can also enter a help desk ticket for additional support.

Families gear up for new school year at Happy Health Fair

Dozens of backpacks filled the Roy Miller High School gym as parents and students lined up to receive free school supplies ahead of the 2025–2026 school year.

Happy Health: A Back to School Fair, organized by LEAD First, was held on July 26 at Roy Miller High School. The event provided families with free school supplies, including clear backpacks, as well as free medical screenings to help students start the school year.

District email signature template

All schools, departments, and district offices are required to use the standard CCISD email signature template, as shown in page 15 of the Brand Style Guide. In keeping with the aim of presenting a unified and professional image, employees are asked to avoid incorporating personal quotes, backgrounds or logos of other organizations into their email signature. See page 16 of the Brand Style Guide.

Veterans Memorial Eagle Cheer and Drumline brought the spirit to the United Way Operation S.O.S. Back to School event, showing the power of community partnerships in action. We can’t wait to welcome students back on Aug. 11.
