Leaders gear up for new school year during SLC
#TeamCCISD got Stronger Together during the Superintendent’s Leadership Conference. District leaders attended the two-day conference to continue their journey of excellence. Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez, now in his 10th year as superintendent of CCISD, shared our district’s points of pride and his excitement for the upcoming school year. Above the Line nominations
The Art of Innovation: Tech2Teach a great success
Dozens of district staff flooded the halls of Veterans Memorial High School to learn from their peers on July 19 and 20. They returned to the classroom for Tech2Teach. This year, more than 60 CCISD presenters shared their knowledge with district staff and parents just in time for the new school year.

Along with our Administration, Auxiliary and Certified/Professional categories, we will also honor substitutes!

Stronger Together: Convocation
The theme for this year’s Convocation is “Stronger Together.”
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the event begins at 9 a.m. There will be live entertainment and free swag before the event.
Elementary campuses and district offices are asked to carpool to the American Bank Center. Secondary campuses will be transported by bus. Please note, the American Bank Center has a clear bag policy. Any bags larger than a small clutch bag will need to be clear. Find more information on their website.
