COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINES

Our district teachers worked to fuel the spark of creativity this summer during Camp Invention.

Teachers guided STEM activities, such as robotic aquatics, space walks and arcade games.

Our teachers helped students build paths for marbles to slide down, decorate aquatic tanks and guide students on how to build space packs. The camps hosted students at Calk-Wilson, Mireles and Zavala elementary schools.

CCISD encourages everyone age 5 and older to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Appreciation dates

Level up this summer during Tech2Teach

There are a lot of wonderful district employees to be grateful for. Don’t miss the chance to celebrate them this school year.

This year’s Tech2Teach will give staff the chance to learn and grow this summer!

Tech2Teach will offer sessions by CCISD educatos and learning partners on July 20 and 21 at Veterans Memorial High School.

Tech2Teach will also feature presentations for parents. Food trucks will be on site for lunch and there will be door prizes each day!

Pre-K for CCISD employees’ children

All employees’ children may attend Pre-K at a discounted rate of $375 per month.

Area development plan survey The City of Corpus Christi is creating a new Bayside Area Development Plan.

Office of Athletics seeks staff for upcoming seasons The Office of Athletics is looking for people interested in working during district athletic games and events. Positions available include ticket sellers and takers, ushers and video board operators and scorekeepers.

Making Connections Conference Convocation is back this year!

The event will be August 2 at the American Bank Center. This year’s keynote is best-selling author Jon Gordon.

Master of Education and certifcation programs Want to pursue a Master of Education or certification program?

The University of Texas - Arlington is waiving the application fee for Fall I session. The dealine to apply is July 22.
