More than 100 hired at July Job Fair
More than 100 people joined #TeamCCISD during a district job fair on July 12 at Veterans Memorial High School. Thanks to the fair, 147 people were hired for a variety of schools and district departments. Those include Transportation, Facilities and Operations, Police/Security and Food Services, among others. We are excited to welcome a number of teachers as well!

This year’s Convocation is on Aug. 2 at the American Bank Center Arena. This year, the venue’s clear bag/small clutch requirement will be enforced. Find information on the bag policy on the venue’s website
Free summer meals
The Office of Food Services will be serving free breakfast and lunch to all children between the ages of 1-18 beginning June 12.

Tech2Teach offers free technology sessions

Tech2Teach is July 19 and 20 at Veterans Memorial High School! This year’s event will feature more than 60 CCISD presenters and free technology sessions for teachers, staff and parents.

Meet Valerie Sanchez! Valerie attended Meadowbrook Elementary School, Cullen Place Middle School and Moody High School. She is now an Instructional Coach in CCISD.
