District employees represented their district and campus spirit during this year’s Convocation. An array of school colors filled the American Bank Center Arena as staff cheered for their campuses, holding up signs, pom-poms and large letters to spell out their campus. Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez shared words of encouragement for the upcoming school year, and reflected on district accomplishments of the past year. Molly Hudgens, a civilian Medal of Honor recipient, was the keynote speaker for the event. She shared her story and reminded district staff that they can make a difference for their students. We are looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year! #CCISDproud
