New Teacher Orientation prepares 257 new teachers for school year

The halls of Veterans Memorial High School was filled with people, but it wasn’t filled with students. For two days, the halls were filled with more than 250 new CCISD teachers as they attended New Teacher Orientation.

During the event, new teachers received vaulable information to prepare them for the 2025-2026 school year. They heard from leaders in Teaching and Learning, Human Resources and district administration.

Diana Ybarra, Coordinator for Recuritment and Retention, said the new teachers were excited to learn all about CCISD.

We wish all our new teachers the best of luck this school year!

Superintendent’s Leadership Conference empowers leaders to unleash their potiental

The 2025 Superintendent’s Leadership Conference at Mary Carroll High School brought two days of powerful leadership development and collaboration for CCISD leaders. The event featured an inspiring keynote from McKenna Reitz and continued with sessions designed to energize and prepare campus teams for the year ahead. We are excited, empowered, and ready to welcome our students on August 11!
