Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. We are excited to see campuses across the district celebrate in different ways including sharing History Channel facts with students, free-write prompt assignments, creating a school Civil Rights Hall of Fame, collages and even trivia! Click here to watch the Feb. 5 celebration of a plaque and seating area honoring Rosa Parks as well as CCRTA’s newest spirit bus stop.
