CONGRATULATIONS, CHIEF WARNKE! CCISD Police Department Chief, Kirby Warnke, was recently appointed as 4th Vice President for the Texas School District Police Chiefs Association.

Chief Warnke has been in law enforcement since 1991. He joined our CCISD Police Department in 1997 and was appointed Chief in 2010.

REMINDER: Any email that is received from outside of CCISD, will alert our users that the email is from an External Sender. An email from our administrators’ CCISD email account is internal and would not be marked as an external email.

Also, please review the full email address of the sender. These emails are coming from @gmail.com and other external domains. These are not sent from their @ccisd.us email account. The 22RedFlags document provides information to help us better identify tactics criminals use to trick us.

REMINDER BIOMETRICS SCREENING FORM In order to continue the monthly discount of $60 per month for the health plan year of 2021, employees and spouses covered by the district’s health insurance plan will need to complete and submit the Biometrics Screening Form by October 31, 2020. The form can be found in the Forms folder at https://www.ccisd.us/HumanResources/ EmployeeBenefits. Employees can also call RediMD at 1-866-989-2873 to complete this task. SAFESCHOOLS MANDATORY TRAINING CCISD is using SafeSchools training to offer workplace training courses online. All employees are required to complete the Coronavirus training courses.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Please respect your co-workers’ privacy. It’s the right thing to do, and it’s the law! Please do not share health information, and definitely do not share rumors about positive COVID-19 tests. During these anxious times, we all appreciate a little extra kindness. If a coworker chooses to share health information, it’s certainly a good idea to support them while following CDC guidelines. Thank you!

NORMS FOR REMOTE MEETINGS AND PROFESSIONAL LEARNING The outcomes of any given meeting or training session rely on your participation and presence. Now, more than ever, there is a need to focus on the presenters and actively participate in group discussions.

Below are some tips for a successful remote learning experience: Be prepared Be “visibly” present Be sure to have your supplies, materials, headphones, Having your video feature on is very important caffeine and charger ready to go before the session for both you and the presenter. PASSWORD RESET INFORMATION Resetting Your IP Phone Password, Greeting, and Voicemail Name Your password has been reset to 654654#. To change your password, press the messages button on your IP phone. Enter your password 654654#; a message will prompt you to change your password. Enter your new password.

You will be prompted to setup your voicemail name and set your greeting.

See the IPT Quick Reference guide for additional information on operating your IP phone. Please contact the Help Desk at 878-3911 if you need assistance with password or greeting resets.

CCISD requires all employees change their password every 60 days to protect student and staff digital information.

If your password expires or you forget your password, Password self service is available for all employees 24 hours a day 7 days a week from any device. https://my.ccisd.us.

If you have forgotten your password and answered challenge response questions, you will be able to reset your password.

Note: If you have not answered your challenge response questions in the past, please visit https:// my.ccisd.us. Login and answer three of the five questions presented. These questions will allow you to change your password in future using Password Self Service.
