Last week, we honored 55 incredible educators during a ruby-themed celebration marking the 40th anniversary of Teacher of the Year.

Draft Day: Job Fair adds 33 new employees
CCISD kicks off Buc Days
Buc Days festivities officially began this weekend as CCISD kicked off the celebration alongside the community in the parade.
District Teachers of the Year Denise Caldera and Martha Buendia joined CCISD Board Members and Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez to represent the district during the annual tradition. We wish all CCISD staff and families a fun and safe Buc Days experience!
CCISD campuses brought the excitement of game day to this year’s Draft Day Job Fair, welcoming prospective employees with team spirit. Campuses decorated their booths in school colors and themed displays as they worked to “draft” new members to their teams for the upcoming school year.
As a result of the event, 33 candidates are being recommended for hire.
Thank you to all campuses, departments, and staff members who helped make the Draft Day Job Fair a success.
