During the April 13 Board of Trustees Meeting, the Board recognized district staff members. Among those recognized were February and March Above the Line winners and staff of Purple Heart Designated Campuses as part of Month of the Military Child recognition. The Board also had a Special Called Meeting - Budget Workshop on Monday. During that meeting, the board held a budget workshop. During the Regular Board of Trustees Meeting, the board approved the following: • Reduce costs for HVAC upgrades at Webb and Zavala elementary schools. • Reduce costs for HVAC upgrades at Coles High School, Mary Grett Transition Center and Metro Elementary School of Design. • Purchase and installation of miscellaneous classroom, office and collaborative furniture for various campuses.
