COMPLETE THE 2020 CENSUS TODAY!

On April 8-9, CCISD assistant principals had the opportunity to participate in a virtual experience. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Academy was transformed into a virtual LIVE environment. The Instructional Technology team created a Future Ready virtual dashboard to provide descriptions of each session and their times. Sessions consisted of: • Canvas Expectations • Canvas Communication Tools • Nearpod: Student Engagement and Accountability • Youtube and Zoom!

• Snap and Read: Student Speech to Text Tool and Translator • Hoonuit: 24/7 Digital Professional Learning Platform

CCISD assistant principals were amazing participants and did not miss a beat. They are truly Future Ready leaders.

Feedback was collected to ensure the event was valuable and as always there is room to improve. All feedback for improvement will be considered for the next event. Thank you, assistant principals and leadership directors.

2020 SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES CCISD is accepting applications from current full-time employees for 2020 summer employment for the following programs.

All summer programs are tentative pending COVID-19 status. These positions may require teachers to provide virtual lessons or online lessons as we have been using during school closure. Applications are being accepted through April 30.

SAFESCHOOLS MANDATORY TRAINING CCISD is using SafeSchools training to offer workplace training courses online.

All employees are required to complete the Texas Cybersecurity Awareness for Employees Program.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Please respect your co-workers’ privacy. It’s the right thing to do, and it’s the law! Please do not share health information, and definitely do not share rumors about positive COVID-19 tests. During these anxious times, we all appreciate a little extra kindness. If a coworker chooses to share health information, it’s certainly a good idea to support them while following CDC guidelines.
