CIS & HAWORTH GIVE BACK CIS ANNUAL CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT: BAGS & BREWS Enhancing the community is an ongoing mission of CIS. Throughout the year we contribute to multiple non-profit organizations across the Valley with toy drives, events and monetary contributions. In February of 2018, CIS organized our first cornhole tournament, Bags & Brews, to benefit A New Leaf’s after school program. With 160 participants and 45 sponsors, everyone enjoyed a beautiful day of competition, good food, craft beer and raised $13,000. Our fourth annual Bags & Brews Event is in February 2022, being sponsored by Haworth. We are looking forward to another great success and being able to support A New Leaf. A New Leaf was founded in 1971. The agency promotes the concepts of “growth, hope, change and new beginnings.” Throughout its existence, A New Leaf has remained committed to the mission of “Helping Families . . . Changing Lives,” relying on generous donors and volunteers to leverage resources and increase impact. With a strong board and long-time dedicated leadership, A New Leaf serves as a vital community resource. Last year A New Leaf served 26,973 individuals with resources, including homeless and domestic violence shelters with services, affordable housing solutions, youth services, foster care, counseling, financial literacy, neighborhood economic development, workforce support, and community services.
